This year there were many fun activities for Halloween. It is so much fun seeing Ava get all excited to hand out candy as well as go Trick o treating. We started the day with a PJ halloween party at school. Ava was so excited to wear the Stompees that Aunt Natalie had bought her and the Cow PJ's that G-ma and G-pa had sent her. I had even bought her Halloween PJ's just for the occasion but she insisted on the cow PJ's. Then it was pumpkin Carving with Daddy. We usually don't carve a pumpkin since I am more into the mums and uncarved pumpkin on the porch kind of decorator but with Ava being older and more excited about all things Halloween we just had to have fun with it. She helped daddy clean the pumpkin out and eve drew a picture of exactly how she wanted him to carve it out. Once finished she instructed Mark to draw a beard on him. The night of Halloween we waited for Mark to get off work and he took Ava around while Max and I handed out the candy. We didn't have very many trick o treaters in our small neighborhood so there was candy left over for Mommy :)
The outfit I made Ava this year. Well the shirt anyway :)
Our first ever pumpkin carving.
