After Frank Family, we headed to Cuvaison . We really were not impressed with Cuvaison. It's not that the wine was bad but at this point we had already been to 3 wineries and we were all hungary and ready for lunch. Also the fact that the wine poorer was very boring did not help. The atmosphere at Cuvaison was nice and modern. The way the displayed their wine was very unique and interesting to look at. 
The Main reason we chose Cuvaison was that our driver told us that it has a great place for a picnic lunch. Earlier that morning we had picked up food at the grocery store. Our driver set up everything for us while we were tasting wine. We were so hungary by the time we were done and were so happy to see the table all set up and ready for us to chow down.
mix in wine, fully bellies and some fun music and you get 4 silly women. I don't quite remember what was so funny but at the time we thought it was hilarious!
Our next stop was Vincent Arroyo Winery. It was our lucky day because a bottling truck was on site bottling wine so we got to see how that whole process worked. The bottling truck only comes once a year so it was really great to be able to see how it all works. The truck pulls up and bottles the wine in an afternoon. Pretty neat!
Vincent Arroyo for sure had a more laid back atmosphere. The wine was great and everyone there was so friendly and nice. They even gave us a free bottle of wine which we enjoyed at dinner one night on our trip.
They also grow olives on site and make their own olive oil. Yum!
More on day one soon and day one will be done. Im saving the best winery for last...O'Brien!
