Week of First

This week Ava has experienced two new "First".  On Sunday we took Ava to see her first Movie at the local Drive in to see "Toy Story 3".  The weather over the weekend was just abnormally perfect.  That night the humidity was low and there was a light cool breeze just perfect for a night at the drive in.  We weren't quite sure how she would do since the movie started past her bed time.  We made a bed in the back of the truck got us pop corn and cokes and enjoyed the show.  Ava loved it but when the movie was over she asked to go home.  My girl loves to go to bed!

The next day was Ava's first day of school.  It's not really school but a mom's day out program.  This year they are have a short summer session so I signed up Ava for one day a week to get her used to it.  In August she will go three times a week.  She seemed to really love it and according to her report card in her back pack she was very happy, went to the potty and had some wet diapers, ate well and napped for and hour and a half.  I am so surprised she napped on her nap mat but I guess if the other kids are doing it she will too.
