Water fun, Frogs and Surgery

My week has been random as is this post.  We started off the week with a play date.  I invited my friend Candice and her two kids Cassidy, and Christian.  We set up the pool and water table out on the back patio and the kids had a ball. They started out swimming and then both ended up in the play sink.

 Unfortunately at 10 am it was already hotter than blazes so Candice and I couldn't take the heat for too long.  On tuesday we went to our usual play group at the SPLASH park.  As always we had alot of fun with our friends.  Ava will even be featured in the local paper.  A reporter was at the park and asked if they could use Ava. Here is one of the pics she took.

 I can't wait to see the issue when it comes out next week!  Wednesday we went to my friend Karen's house to play with their kids.  Ava loves Miss Karen and her kids Abby and Aiden.  We played dress up and had a ball.  Thursday I had a coffee at the CG's house.  Luckily the CG's wife is super friendly and very laid back so it made all of us girls very comfortable in her home.

Friday Mark had septoplasty and Balloon sinuplasty surgery so we had Lauren come over to watch Ava.  Basically the surgery is to fix his deviated septum and to clear out his nasal passages so that he won't have the headaches and sinus pressure anymore.  Like many doctors Mark's was running behind so his surgery that should have started at 7:30 didn't start until 10:30.  By the time surgery was over and recovery time was done we didn't get home until 3:30.  Thank goodness for Lauren being so flexible.  Ava and her had the best time!  If you get a chance you will have to check out my Facebook profile for the link to a video that Lauren took of Ava and her Froggy friend.  It is so cute!

It's nice to know your child is in good and loving hands while you are away.  Mark is doing better today and hopefully will be back to 100% by the time the weekend is over.

So as you can see we had a busy and very random week.
